Dr Luke graduated from the University of Sydney Medical School in 2020. Since then, Dr Luke has worked at a number of hospitals across South East Queensland including Toowoomba Hospital, The Princess Alexandra Hospital, Logan Hospital, The Queensland Children’s Hospital and the Mater Mothers Hospital. During this time, he completed a number of rotations in general medicine, surgery, emergency, infectious diseases, palliative care and paediatrics.

Dr Chris is a dedicated general practitioner registrar with a strong background in acute care, surgery, and public health. Holding a Doctor of Medicine from Flinders University and advanced qualifications in chronic care management, epidemiology, and public health, Dr Chris is passionate about delivering comprehensive, community-focused healthcare. With experience as a resident medical officer in general medicine, cardiology, emergency care, and surgical specialties such as ENT and vascular surgery, Dr Chris has developed expertise in managing a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. 

Dr Sarah grew up on the Sunshine Coast, before moving away to study at the University of New South Wales in Sydney and completing her junior years in regional NSW. She has since worked at various hospitals in SEQ, before relocating back to the Sunshine Coast, and is interested in all aspects of general practice. 

Dr Liisa joins Coastal Family Health this year, transitioning from general practice in Nambour. Prior to private practice, she gained extensive experience across a broad range of specialties within the Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service.

Whilst Dr Liisa enjoys all aspects of family medicine, she has a particular interest in Women’s Health and Chronic Disease Management. She is dedicated to providing thorough, patient-focused care to the local community.

Dr Mallory graduated from the University of Queensland and worked for several years at Gympie, Nambour, Caloundra and Sunshine Coast University Hospitals. She then settled into General Practice training on the Sunshine Coast and achieved her Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Since achieving fellowship, Dr Mallory has built a following of patients at Coastal Family Health where she specifically enjoys working with aged care, senior citizens and palliative care.

Dr Chanelle is a Sunshine Coast local and joins us from Bli Bli clinic, after completing her first year of General Practice. Prior to her work at Sunshine Coast Health Hospital Service, Chanelle worked as a community pharmacist for over 10 years in the local area, providing her with a smooth transition into medical care. Her special interests include antenatal care, children’s health, women’s health, cancer care and minor procedures such as biopsies and mirena removals.

Dr Tracey Bryan joined the Coastal Family Health team after moving from New Zealand with her young family. She has now been an asset to our team for over 10 years. Dr Tracey has a fellowship in General Practice as well as extensive anaesthetic training. Although she enjoys all areas of General Practice, she has a particular interest in women’s, family and mental health.

Dr Michael Walsh has over 25 years experience in all aspects of General Practice and has been a cornerstone part of the Coastal team for over 15 years. Dr Walsh is registered with RACGP to provide supervisor support and training to young doctors achieving fellowship. He enjoys the variety that general practice brings, with further training in dermatology, cosmetic procedures, Type 2 diabetes mellitus management. Dr Michael is also experienced and qualified in cosmetic Anti-Wrinkle Injections and offers this service at Coastal Family Health.

Dr Emma Lynch completed her medical training with a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery in 2002, at the University of Leicester. Since being in Australia, she has worked at various different hospitals throughout the country before she settling on the Sunshine Coast in 2017. Dr Lynch enjoys the variety that General Practice offers with particular interests in children’s and women’s health, including Mirena and Copper IUD insertions and removals. Dr Lynch is also passionate about preventative care and lifestyle measures to improve patients’ overall health.
