Dr Chanelle Pilcher

Dr Chanelle is a caring and dedicated GP who provides thorough, patient-centred care across all stages of life and in all aspects of General Practice. She completed Medicine at University of Queensland in 2020 and gained Fellowship to the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) in 2025. Dr Pilcher is also a proud member of the Australian Indigenous Doctors’ Association (AIDA).

Prior to working in General Practice Dr Chanelle worked in the Sunshine Coast Health & Hospital Service, and has worked as a community pharmacist for over 10 years in the local area, providing her with a smooth transition into medical care.

She does have a special interest in Women’s Health, including Contraception, Antenatal and Postnatal care, Breast Health including supporting patients with Breast Cancer, and Gynaecological concerns. Dr Pilcher also has a special interest in providing care for those navigating Cancer diagnoses and treatment, with a focus on compassion and continuity of care.

Dr Pilcher offers a wide variety of in-clinic services such as iron infusions and venesections, skin checks, skin biopsies, simple skin cancer mangement, cryotherapy services,  sebaceous cyst removal, nail removal and resections, Implanon insertion and removal, Mirena IUD removal and Travel Immunisations including Yellow Fever.

In addition to her clinical work, Dr Pilcher is actively involved in Medical Education, serving as an RACGP Clinical Assessor, Lecturer and Casual Academic at Griffith University School of Medicine and Dentistry, and as an OSCE Examiner for medical students.
