Dr Emma Lynch emigrated from the United Kingdom after completing her medical degree (Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery) in 2002 at the University of Leicester. Following her move to Australia, she gained broad clinical experience working across a range of hospital settings before settling into General Practice on the Sunshine Coast in 2017.

Dr Lynch values the diversity of General Practice, allowing her to care for patients across all stages of life. She has developed a particular focus on women’s health, where she provides comprehensive, patient-centred care in areas such as contraception, reproductive health, and menopause management. She is highly experienced in long-acting reversible contraception, including Mirena and Copper intrauterine device (IUD) insertions and removals, and takes a supportive, informative approach to help patients choose the most suitable option for their individual needs and lifestyle. Dr Lynch is committed to creating a comfortable and respectful environment where women feel confident discussing sensitive health concerns.

In addition to women’s health, Dr Lynch has a strong interest in children’s health and enjoys supporting families through all stages of development. She is also passionate about preventative medicine and works closely with her patients to promote long-term wellbeing through lifestyle measures, early intervention, and education.

Outside of work, Dr Lynch embraces an active lifestyle and enjoys spending time with her family, reflecting her belief in the importance of maintaining both physical and mental wellbeing.
