Coronaviruses are a family of viruses which causes illness to humans and animals. Symptoms can range from mild illness to pneumonia with the severity of the effect on patients varying significantly depending on age and any pre-existing medical conditions. It can be passed on from somebody who already has the virus through touching the same objects or through direct contact. People with coronavirus may experience fever, flu-like symptoms such as coughing, sore throat and fatigue and shortness of breath.

If you have left, or transited through mainland China or Iran in the last 14 days or have been in close contact with somebody with a confirmed case of Coronavirus, you must isolate yourself for 14 days from the date of leaving the destination. If you have worsening symptoms such as shortness of breath call 000 as you will likely require hospital management.
