We use the Nemoa product to produce the cast. Nemoa is made of polyester knitted tape. This forms a cast that is very light, easily applied and hardens quickly to provide a strong cast ensuring fracture stability and quickly reducing pain. Under the cast we use a special water repellent padding which does not allow water to get trapped underneath, therefore no unwanted bad odours!
When its time to remove the cast this is done easily at our practice with a plaster saw. Nemoa is 100% polyester and so produces much less dust when cut and there are no harmful fiberglass fibers to worry about.
